Terms of service
Welcome to Mercy Boutique. Our online store is operated by Bethesda Church House of Mercy ("we," "us," or "our"), 5430 Data Ct, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Using our store
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate, complete information when you place an order. You must be at least the age of majority in your state, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to make a purchase.
2. Products and descriptions
We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors may look slightly different depending on your screen, and handmade or printed items may vary a little from piece to piece. If an item isn't as described, please see our Refund & Return Policy.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Applicable sales tax and shipping charges are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners. We don't store your full card details. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed.
4. Orders and availability
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it. We reserve the right to limit quantities or to cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
5. Shipping, returns, and refunds
We ship within the United States only. Shipping details are in our Shipping Policy, and returns, exchanges, and refunds are covered by our Refund & Return Policy. Both are part of these terms.
6. Gift cards
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law and can't be returned or refunded.
7. Intellectual property
The content on this website, including text, designs, graphics, logos, and photos, belongs to us or our partners and is protected by law. Please don't copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Your privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and services
Our website may link to or rely on third-party services (such as payment processors and shipping carriers). We aren't responsible for their content or practices.
10. Warranties and limitation of liability
Our products are provided as described, and you keep any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, and changes apply only to orders placed after they're posted.
